Dr. T.J. Swenson Jr. is a nationally recognized leader in homeland security, operational resilience, and enterprise risk management. With over 20 years of experience spanning physical security, federal homeland security operations, counterinsurgency, and critical infrastructure protection, he brings a rare combination of real-world expertise and strategic foresight to every mission.
A U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and a trusted advisor to both public and private sector leaders, T.J. is also an expert technical writer with the highest-level proficiency in policy, security, and continuity planning. His ability to translate complex threats into clear, actionable strategies is unmatched.
T.J. holds a Doctorate in Law and Policy from Northeastern University, equipping him with the policy fluency and legal acumen to navigate complex regulatory environments and advise at the highest levels of government and industry. He has served in senior roles within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, including as a Protective Security Advisor with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and has contributed to national-level doctrine and operational frameworks for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and other agencies.
